YouTube Studio Editor is the current built-in video editor for YouTube other than YouTube Create. It was created for PC as a successor to YouTube Video Editor a year after its deprecation. However, users on mobile can also access this via any browser.
Functionality[]
Using the YouTube Studio Editor, users can trim and cut, blur parts of a video, add info cards, an end screen, and audio. The audio picker uses YouTube's audio library, consisting of royalty-free audios, similar to YouTube Video Editor.
Limitations[]
- You cannot add filters, transitions, videos or text.
- You cannot add user-generated audio or video.
- There is no flip tool.
