X sources

X sources (also known as sources go on (notable series name), [letter].../[source title] (rabbithole trend title), and My Edited Video (default YouTube Video Editor video title)) is a culture span of videos where a source gets added each round that progressively blocks the other source with a transition. Normally, x sources are tend to be the exact same logo but with different effects or versions (e.g. X Klasky Csupos), while there are occasions where logo editors put random sources, and often name the round by a combination of the first letter of the source's title, the inputs ".../", and the name of the recently-inserted source (e.g. M.../Klasky Csupo Effects 2). The oldest notably-known series is the what-people-call "ultimate" X Klasky Csupos series invented in February 8, 2015 by tnt2005.

History

The first known X Klasky Csupos series is the often-referred-to-as "ultimate" one created by tnt2005 in February 8, 2015. The series would later become a collaboration project, as IceCreamJaxxie would take her round in the "9 Klasky Csupos" round. The "29 Klasky Csupos/3 Awesome Csupos" round marks the first instance of an X Klasky Csupos round to use a source from another series, and the first one to use the little-to-low-used trend title "X Klasky Csupos/[source title]" as an excuse to not shift up the round number by +1. That twist would later get its own title of "X + X = X Klasky Csupos".

Aside from using YouTube Video Editor, people were able to use AVS Video Editor to make rounds from such series, hence the AVS watermark being put on place.

More X Klasky Csupos series later spawned, like ones made by Loskythecopydog77 and Hellothe414. Most of them later start to get taken down from YouTube on circa 2016-2020, where fake reuploads began to show up. After the YouTube Video Editor shut down, logo editors have moved on to use other editing softwares to make their X Klasky Csupos series.

Transitions from multiple series have later begun to be copied by other users for their own series.

Twists and variations

On very notable occasions, a logo editor wants to shift up the round number by more than +1 by using an X Klasky Csupos round to their round. They call this "X + X = X Klasky Csupos" as the chosen title. However, there could be many surprises where people put a new source at the beginning, blocking the initial source.

This concept also has a few variations:

• Random transitions - variation using exact same series where other transitions are used.
• Reverse order - variation using exact same series where the source is always added at the beginning instead of the end.

Fake reuploads

Ever since most of the X Klasky Csupos series were getting taken down, fake reuploads have spawned into the internet which show the recreation of a deleted X Klasky Csupos round. Some logo editors have their attempts of making it look accurate, while some don't use the correct effects and/or transitions.
