VideoEditBot is an open-source Discord bot designed for editing videos quickly. It's commonly used amongst logo editors, particularly mobile ones, due to its accessibility on all devices.
A sister bot called AutotuneBot also existed. The autotune function was then integrated into VideoEditBot on October 23, 2022. months later the AutotuneBot stopped working or was discontinued silently.
The original host of the bot has stopped working permanently on January 21, 2024, and has since been purged by Discord on November 10, 2024 along with AutotuneBot.
Self-hosts[]
OpenVideoBot[]
OpenVideoBot (aka JERNMultiEditor before its release) is a self-host of VideoEditBot managed by TRP Productions since July 2023.
During July 2024, the bot had stopped working due to issues with the owner's hard drive, but was brought back in October.
On December 3, 2024, the bot was discontinued permanently, due to server struggles.
On December 26, 2024, the original self host of the bot was purged by the owner, due to server struggles, but then came back as an exclusive for the owner's server.
OpenVideoBot Bedrock[]
OpenVideoBot Bedrock is an attempt to re-write the code of VideoEditBot, advertised as a more stable version. However, it was unfinished and got cancelled.
video bot thing[]
video bot thing was a self-host of VideoEditBot managed by onez++, although it is not completely configured. It was used while OpenVideoBot was offline. It is currently offline due to the owner being unsure whether to verify the bot or not.
BeeboVideo[]
BeeboVideo (aka BeeboEditBot) is a self-host of VideoEditBot managed by Beebo. It runs on a similar schedule to OpenVideoBot.
On December 20, 2024, the bot was verified by Beebo for the first time.
On December 26, 2024, Beebo added some custom commands to the bot like swapuv,defisheye,transpose,huehsv,invertred and oops (oops is a sox command)
On January 9, 2025, BeeboVideo stopped working because owner's laptop broke.
OxyVideo[]
OxyVideo is a fork of BeeboVideo managed by TRP Productions. It is a successor to OpenBots, and BeeboBots.
