An example of a "Shuric Scan". One of the most popular videos uses the "KlaskyKlaskyKlaskyKlasky" source.
In logo editing, or particularly in the YouTube Poop (Music Videos) community, a Shuric Scan (or simply a Scan) is a sort of "YouTube Poop Music Video". It has become a wide trend, and likely an overused trend to some.
Origin[]
On October 16, 2009, YouTube user imflashmaker9985 uploaded a video titled "Sheirik Scan NEGen", which remixes "Shuric Scan 1.99crk" and possibly the first video to do so, before the title "(YTPMV) Shuric Scan" was given.[1] However, the first .veg replace was Tearscan by ShuricMan.
Usage[]
Roomscan (No BGM)
The video of the original scan, without replacing the video.
The user simply creates their own remix of "Shuric Scan 1.99crk", a song by tPORt which is a remixed version of "Battling Precariously", an audio track from the 1990 game Ninja Gaiden II, by using videos and adding many overlays and raising/lowering pitches to match the sounding, all which are done in video editing software.[1]
In an easier and lazier way, the user simply downloads a .VEG (Vegas Pro project) file, which apparently is a leaked file and the cause of the popularity. Once downloaded, the user replaces the original video (The Room.avi) in the project with a different video, and the entire thing is basically finished.
This is a VEG project that was found on MediaFire and it's a visualizer version of "Shuric Scan 1.99crk", created by MexicanSunFlower in 2011.[2][3]

Scan D minor
The D-minor version of the .veg
On September 22, 2018, a user named Andrew Fans Alt created an edited version of the veg file, entitled "Scan D minor", with the video's pitches in the D-minor scale, as well as the video layers being 3D rotated. The .veg can be downloaded in the video's description.
