Luig Group is one of the basic video effects in the logo editing community. Its name is partially based on Luigi from the Super Mario series, which would eventually lead up to a trend involving similar effects and names. This effect also has a brother/opposite effect named Mari Group, which is partially based on Mario, Nintendo's main mascot.
