Benjamin Kaufold (born January 8, 1996, New Hampshire)[1] who is often known online under the name Kyoobur9000; also 9K, Kyoobur, Kyoob, and unofficially Kyoonix; is a popular American logo editor who has been logo editing since 2010 and is well known for being one of the founders of The Logo Editing Community and the main founder of The Kyoobur Company, which he refers as a "big media company".
Kaufold currently works in Boston, Massachusetts as a chemical researcher and teaching assistant at Northeastern University where he is a candidate for a PhD in chemistry.[1]
History[]
2010-2013: Early years[]
Kyoobur joined YouTube in 2010, and said that he "was always fascinated by these videos where people would take their video programs and apply it, plug-in after plug-in after plug-in basically to make it unrecognizable".
2019-2020: Inactivity[]
Many logo editors did not like the fact that that Kyoobur9000 had been inactive, with his "last" video being titled, Moto Moto Likes 'Em G-Major Accompaniment,[2] before his 10th Anniversary. Many logo editors thought that he quit YouTube after uploading the video, and then some logo editors were commenting comments such as "Come Back". Months later, he uploads his 10th Anniversary video after missing his 9th Anniversary, and now he is back in the community.
2021-present: "See Beyond the Horizon: The Movie (Pasadena Trip)"[]

On August 9, 2021, Kyoobur uploaded a video, titled "See Beyond the Horizon: The Movie (Pasadena Trip)", which shows a tour around a temporary art exhibit dedicated to logo editing, located at the AND/OR Gallery in Pasadena, California, which is the home of the old Klasky Csupo studio. Inside the exhibit, TVs are displaying what appear to be videos of Kyoobur himself and other logo editors; some notable are TheGlebEffector, William Vaulter, Наталия Царева, Arseniy Zaykovsky, and 2011gretel.[3]
In the video, Kyoobur mainly acknowledged popular and most-subscribed logo editor Joey's GoNoodle Get Moving, as "the most prolific video artist of our time". During an interview, which can be viewed here, he also mentions Patch93 as an inspiration and Lolman as one of his earliest online friends, which he mentioned that they left the community a long time ago and that there was "no good way to reach out to [her][4] anymore".
In January 2024, Kyoobur received a copyright strike on his Ocean Shores logo-edit he made years ago. It is unknown whether this is from a representative of Ocean Shores/Golden Harvest, or a copyright troll. Due to this, he had privated all videos and they may only be unprivated in February.

Kyoobur is well-known for creating experimental videos, which combines filters to create an official effect. There are also different types of experimental videos he creates such as separating colors within a color space, creating new and animated gradients for others to use, creating effects on other softwares, and YouTube Poops (YTP's).

Kyoobur is also known for creating popular effects throughout the logo editing community. There are some effects he's created that aren't often used because of the complication of finding the right materials for it, and he has effects that have been used for over 5 years. - He is a good colleague friend with U-Man.
- He founded The Kyoobur Company and was the owner of the official Logo Editing Community Discord server before deleting the server.
- He was considered to have left the Logo Editing community and have disbanded The Kyoobur Company. He is now officially back in the community. Though he never disbanded the Kyoobur Company, he currently does not interact with any users apart of the company. His current company is Callosum Graphics.
